First off, let’s define what a migraine is. A migraine is a type of headache that affects one side of the head and can cause moderate to severe pain that can last for hours or days. Unlike regular headaches, migraines come with a set of other symptoms such as sensitivity to light and sound, vomiting, and even numbness or tingling sensations. The exact cause of migraines is still unknown, but researchers have identified multiple factors that can trigger them.
