We know the pain of migraines is debilitating and makes you feel helpless as you miss out on important family moments. Whether you’ve had it for years or it’s a new occurrence, understanding the cause and triggers of migraines can help you manage the condition. First off, let’s define what a migraine is. A migraine is a type of headache that affects one side of the head and can cause moderate to severe pain that can last for hours or days. Unlike regular headaches, migraines come with a set of other symptoms such as sensitivity to light and sound, vomiting, and even numbness or tingling sensations.
